Edgar Jimenez is a proud, Chicago born and raised Mexi-pino (Mexican dad and Filipino mom).
He is currently the president of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Chicago (PACCGC) and is the Chicago Founding Partner for Talent Solution Partners, an Executive Search firm focused on Health Care and Fast Moving Consumer Goods leadership placements and staffing consultations. He also serves as a Business Advisor with the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Chinese Mutual Aid Association.
Edgar grew up in Humboldt Park/ Logan Square and graduated from Lane Tech High School. He received a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corp (NROTC) Scholarship to the University of Illinois. After completing his degree in Economics/ Business, with a minor and Naval Sciences, he received his commission and served on the East Coast with the USS Koelsh, FF 1049, a fast frigate out of Jacksonville Florida and then on the West Coast with the the USS Mount Hood, AE-29, assigned to the USS America Carrier Battle Group through the end of Desert Storm. After the completion of Desert Storm, Mount Hood crossed the Equator, where Edgar became a Shell-Back. He retired his Naval commission as a Lieutenant.
Over the last 30 years, he worked in several senior leadership positions at various Chicago firms that include Helene Curtis/Unilever, Chicago Tribune, CNA Insurance, McGraw-Hill , UNO/Acero Charter Schools and founded G Handle, the patented maker of the worlds only “Velcro – Powered Glove and Gear Grip”.
Prior to becoming an executive recruiter, he ran Pacific Home Healthcare Inc., a Visiting Nursing agency that provided Skilled Nursing and Therapy care to homebound Medicare and VA patients for 5 years..
Edgar currently leads the Chicago Healthcare and Supply Chain Leadership practice of Talent Solution Partners’ (TSP), a New York based executive recruiting firm. On behalf of his clients and job candidates, he talent-verifies and leverages his hands-on senior level leadership, marketing, hiring and sales experience gained in the U.S. Navy, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), Fortune 500 companies, not-for-profits, Start-ups and Healthcare organizations to find, attract and vet the candidates who will improve their personal, professional and financial lives with a new employer. Additionally, he coaches job seekers in their search for better opportunities or to make professional adjustments in their current roles that increase their responsibilities and career satisfaction.

Edgar loves to fish with and life-coach his 2 teenage boys, cook, and pursue his natural curiosity in the world’s philosophies, history and economic workings through reading and documentaries, while being a fair-weather Chicago Teams fan.
